How do I Book a lesson and/or course?

Just call 01372 467 132 (option 2) and someone will help you book.Please have ready the dates you would like to book together with alternative dates and your payment details.

How many slopes do you have?

We have four ski slopes with two drag lifts (button lifts).We have two nursery slopes that are [] long, one main slope which is [] long and one slalom race slope which joins the main slope making a course of approximately []

What is your slope made of?

We are a dry ski slope which means you can ski on specially made matting.The mats are made of []

Does it hurt if I fall over ?

We teach beginners how to fall on the slopes so it shouldn’t hurt, but with all adventure activities there is a risk of sustaining bumps and bruises.We concentrate on the fun however 🙂

Are you open in the rain?

We ski in all weathers.Only lightning will mean the course has to close, but always call to check.

Ski boot hire

Included within the price for all courses and lessons and practice sessions.We suggest you wear a thin pair of socks.If you are going on a skiing holiday bring the socks you will be wearing on the slopes.

Some older satnavs get confused with the postcode.Please have a look at the map [link to map] and note our entrance is on the side of the racecourse in More Lane.If your satnav is suggesting you go to the front of the racecourse please ignore it 🙂

Helmets (what is the policy)

Anyone under the age of [] must wear a helmet on the slopes at all times.From [] all children must wear a helmet on the main slopes.Any person participating in racing must wear a helmet.

I am skiing, what should I wear?

All clothing should be old, comfortable and hardwearing.
Tracksuit bottoms or jeans (No skinny jeans)
Gloves or mittens (not woollen)
Long sleeved clothing
Long socks
A waterproof jacket – we operate in all weathers
Please remove jewellery before going on the slopes

I am going to Ringo/sledging/mini ringo party, what should I wear?

All children participating in a ringo party or a sledging and mini ringo party will be required to wear a helmet liner & helmet, which will be supplied.

What about valuables?

We have lockers that are combination locks and free of charge for valuables.

What are the rules?

Mobile phones are not allowed on the slopes.

I left my jumper behind?

We have a lost property bin that we keep for one month before donating to charity.Please get in touch.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

14 days notice prior to the start date of the tuition must be given in order to receive a full refund. Any cancellation within 14 days will only be refunded or transferred once the booking has been resold.30 days notice is required to receive a full refund on all parties.
