Pilates Beginners Course

The New Year is just around the corner, and what a great time to try something new. Sandown Sports are running two sets of Pilates beginners courses; Pilates is a very safe and effective form of exercise, which works by strengthening the core postural muscles of the body. Through this the body is re-balanced and brought back into correct alignment. The result being a longer, leaner body, and because all exercises are done in a slow controlled way the results are much longer term. One of the many benefits of pilates is the reduction of back pain as a result of the strengthening of core muscles. A consistent programme will improve posture, decrease pain and improve balance. – one of the reasons why Pilates enjoys unique support from the medical profession and is at the leading edge of sports medicine today.

Each course consists of 5 weeks, and run as follows:

  • Thursday 4th Jan – 1st Feb 6.00pm-7.00pm
  • Wednesday 10th Jan – 7th Feb 12.20pm-1.20pm

Payment for the full 5 week course must be made in advance to secure your space on the course. Courses will only run if the minimum number is achieved prior to the course start date.

Members: £18.50, Non-Members: £62.50
