Set amongst ancient woodland in Esher, Surrey, Sandown Sports offers a whole host of activities suitable for a School Sports Day, end of term activity day or just to reward the children.
At Sandown Sports we offer a range of activities that can help extend your school’s physical education offering. This allows students to be exposed to a range of new and exciting skills.
We can take circa 70 children a day who will experience all our core activities, namely skiing, ringos, skywalk adventure, squash and fitness.
Group sizes vary for each activity and we can accomodate circa 70 children from one school. A full day of activites is from 0900 to 1600 with 30 mins for lunch.
Pack in all our activities or extend your day and we can include crazy golf and/or go-karting with our partners here at Sandown Park.
We are also able to build packages across more of our other activities to suit your needs.
Our core activities:
A learning experience that’s fun at the same time! Skywalk Adventure offers the chance for classes to get outdoors, build confidence and get active, whilst developing essential life skills. Teamwork and leadership skills, balance and coordination skills, trust exercises and self-confidence are just some of the areas your students will benefit from and develop. Set in the trees above our ski slopes there is also the opprotunity to learn about the nature that surrounds us.

Learn to ski or prepare for the ski holiday. Skiing teaches a wide range of skills such as balance, teamwork, confidence, spacial awareness, focus, and many others can all be gained by learning how to ski with our friendly qualified instructors.
Just great fun! No prior skill required. The Ringos are hard-based plastic covered inner tubes which slide down the slope and can be spun, linked or raced, all under the supervision of two members of staff. Once at the bottom of the slope, the Ringos must be pulled up the slope by the children. The children have to wear a helmet for the duration of the party – these are supplied by Sandown Sports.
A fantastic opportunity to develop hand-eye and cooridnation skills in a fun envirnonment. A specialised programme has been developed for children of all ages and abaility.
We also have a specially designed pop-up squash court which is inflated outside and is good fun and a great way to learn.
By extending your sports offering to include squash, the following skills are developed:

Junior gym and outside fitness course
In order to encourage juniors to get into fitness from an early age and perfect their techniques, at the gym at Sandown Sports we can offer fun training sessions for 11-16 year olds. We have an indoor and outdoor gym and one of our fully qualified personal trainers will run the sessions using an exercise programme specifically tailored for your requirements.

Yes. Particpants must be 8 years of age or over and be a minimum of 1.3m in height.
Children are asked to bring their own packed lunch and drinks. We do have a cafe and bar serving food and drinks.
Please be aware that children should not bring nuts and shellfish.
Full risk assessmnets and other essential documentation is available and will be provided.
All activites continue regardless of weather so please plan for anything and check the forecasts. All of our outdoor events require long sleeve tops and trousers and children who do not have these will not be permitted to participate. A full kit list will be provided upon booking.
