Amy’s background is exercise to music. Whether in the studio teaching body conditioning classes or teaching spin she has a good ear for music and an enthusiasm that’s contagious. She believes strongly in having fun and encouraging others to work towards their best ability.  Whichever classes of hers you attend, be prepared to work up a sweat and enjoy yourself 🙂

Alexandra Rogers
Class Instructor

Alexe qualified as an ETM instructor in 1994 and has taught consistently ever since. She has taught at Sandown for over 16 years now. She teaches Hiit Aerobics, Circuits, Pump, Boxercise, and Cardio Power. She is now a full time PT with a real passion for Hiit training. Her cardio power Hiit class on Wednesday has a reputation for being the toughest class of the week!

Kerry is a qualified exercise to music instructor who has been teaching at Sandown for 8 years now! Whether it’s a studio class or in the spin studio she is always ready to motivate, encourage and create a fun environment for your workout with her high energy levels. She is a busy Mum of two boys and appreciates how hard it is to fit regular exercise into everyday life so she’ll get you working hard but most of all feeling great and wanting more!

yoga Instructor

Clare has been teaching yoga since 2001 having originally trained with the British Wheel of yoga.  Clare teaches a dynamic style of Hatha yoga suitable for all abilities, incorporating breath, movement, relaxation, meditation and yoga philosophy.  Clare runs yoga foundation courses and yoga teacher training courses in Esher for The British Wheel of Yoga, and is currently adding to her own knowledge by studying for an MA in The History and Traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS (University of London).

Pilates instructor

A professional Classical Ballerina, working as a Principal Dancer from 1980-1997 based all over Germany . She has danced all the Principal Roles in Ballets such as Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Sleeping Beauty Ondine, and many more. She retired from Ballet in 1997 and now has her own business. Libby teaches the advanced pilates courses at Sandown.

Sue Delf
Class Instructor

Sue teaches Dynamic Yoga at Sandown. This class is a flowing (vinyasa) style of yoga, linking breath and movement in a fluid meditative approach. The class begins gently and builds in intensity to increase strength, flexibility and de stress mind and body. For more info on Sue see

I played hockey up to Junior international level & we used indoor cycling as a pre-season tool to add variety & fun to our training.
I am a UK presenter for MOSSA in Group Ride & Group Blast & am lucky to showcase their amazing programmes across the UK. Their influence has developed & focused my coaching skills to ensure participants success & enjoyment as a priority. In addition I teach: Vipr workout, Group Core & enjoy helping several personal training clients with injury through movement coaching. 
As an avid long time road cyclist I enjoy getting out on my bike & racing whenever possible, racing Milan San-Remo a few years ago. 
By trade I am an Aircraft Engineer with a love for South African wine, a student ball room dancer with my wife & a passion for helping others.

Karen is a level 3 personal trainer and has been teaching spin in many different Surrey clubs for the last 7 years.

She also teaches various other fitness classes too. Karen specialises in training men, proven in body building and also competes herself.
She likes to make her classes as fun as possible whilst encouraging you to work hard.  Karen is a big Ibiza girl so you can guarantee lots of house music in her classes
