Amy’s background is exercise to music. Whether in the studio teaching body conditioning classes or teaching spin she has a good ear for music and an enthusiasm that’s contagious. She believes strongly in having fun and encouraging others to work towards their best ability.  Whichever classes of hers you attend, be prepared to work up a sweat and enjoy yourself 🙂

Alexandra Rogers
Class Instructor

Alexe qualified as an ETM instructor in 1994 and has taught consistently ever since. She has taught at Sandown for over 16 years now. She teaches Hiit Aerobics, Circuits, Pump, Boxercise, and Cardio Power. She is now a full time PT with a real passion for Hiit training. Her cardio power Hiit class on Wednesday has a reputation for being the toughest class of the week!

Kerry
Class Instructor

Kerry is a qualified exercise to music instructor who has been teaching at Sandown for 8 years now! Whether it’s a studio class or in the spin studio she is always ready to motivate, encourage and create a fun environment for your workout with her high energy levels. She is a busy Mum of two boys and appreciates how hard it is to fit regular exercise into everyday life so she’ll get you working hard but most of all feeling great and wanting more!

Waleed
Kickbox Fit Class

Waleed has been involved in Martial Arts from the age of 8 and fought internationally around the world. He was placed 3rd in the World Championship twice throughout his fighting career. Punching pads is a great way to keep fit! This type of exercise is not only stress-busting, but it can also be used for building strength, stamina, power, coordination, and balance. You’ll leave his class having burnt lots of calories & will also feel energised!   

Libby
Pilates instructor

A professional Classical Ballerina, working as a Principal Dancer from 1980-1997 based all over Germany . She has danced all the Principal Roles in Ballets such as Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Sleeping Beauty Ondine, and many more. She retired from Ballet in 1997 and now has her own business. Libby teaches the advanced pilates courses at Sandown.

Daisy Van Der Dorm
Class Instructor

Daisy teaches indoor cycling in various studios in surrey, and is also a qualified personal trainer and nutritional advisor. She loves to bring the fun to all her clients, whether in a cycling class or in a one-on-one personal training session. Her passion lies in helping others do their best and push the limits.

Sue Delf
Class Instructor

Sue teaches Dynamic Yoga at Sandown. This class is a flowing (vinyasa) style of yoga, linking breath and movement in a fluid meditative approach. The class begins gently and builds in intensity to increase strength, flexibility and de stress mind and body. For more info on Sue see www.suedelfyoga.co.uk

Rachel malandreniotis
Class instructor

Rachel teaches cycle-based technique focused on core stability, with a head for a tune and love for her job. She prides herself on creating fierce playlists designed to make you sweat, sing along and focus your happy mind.

Having recently moved to Esher, Rachel is a proud member of the Sandown team and loves attending her fellow instructors classes.

Maddy Bard
Class instructor

Maddy has 10+ years experience in the fitness industry. She has many specialties, including power-coaching, yoga, PIYO, bio-mechanical and functional movement. She is also a VIPR coach, a Hiit trainer, a dance instructor, and a nutritionist. Maddy runs several of the spin classes in our cycle studio at Sandown.

Gina Holgate
Class Instructor

Gina qualified as a fitness instructor in 2005, and has lived in Cobham for over 6 years. She teaches ETM, Spin, Aqua, Legs bums tums, and Body con. She has done 3 triathlons, 2 duathlons, as well as Tough mudder. She is a keen fundraiser and has raised over £5,000 for cancer research.

Rebecca Howell
Class Instructor

A graduate from The Royal Ballet School’s Diploma of Dance Teaching (vocational strand), Rebecca teaches ballet classes at Sandown for 3-4 years old. A RAD registered teacher having completed the Certificate in Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance. She has previously prepared students for the Cecchetti standard exams and taught ad-hoc for the Cecchetti Associates.

Karen marchant
yoga Instructor

Karen is a certified Yoga Alliance and British Wheel of Yoga accredited teacher. Karen has formally trained under instruction from Simon Low with philosophy grounded in the Krishnamacharya tradition.

Karen has studied Ayurveda in Singapore and with the British Wheel of Yoga, and completed an Anatomy Awareness in Yoga course with Julie Gudmestad a widely known Iyengar Yoga teacher and physiotherapist in Portland Oregon.

Karen offers an evenly paced yoga class, suitable for all levels of experience including beginners.

clare
yoga Instructor

Clare has been teaching yoga since 2001 having originally trained with the British Wheel of yoga.  Clare teaches a dynamic style of Hatha yoga suitable for all abilities, incorporating breath, movement, relaxation, meditation and yoga philosophy.  Clare runs yoga foundation courses and yoga teacher training courses in Esher for The British Wheel of Yoga, and is currently adding to her own knowledge by studying for an MA in The History and Traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS (University of London).
