Sit Ski Sessions (Bi-Ski) – for wheel chair users
Lessons for people with Visual Impairments
We are aiming to also launch the following styles of adaptive ski later in 2019 too:
– 3 Track (skiing one- ski, two outriggers)
– 4 track (two skis – 2 outriggers)
Facilities and things to note before you set off!
Please note that until the end of February, the disabled toilet facility will be limited to use at the main racecourse. This is accessed via footpath and internal roads within the racecourse and is probably 5-10 mins away.
However, there are changing facilities available on-site at Sandown Sports.
We have two disabled parking spaces available very close to the entrance to the Ski hut which makes it very easy to drive as close as possible to the entrance. We also have a drop off area right outside the main ski hut.
Chaperones – all ski assistants or buddies are permitted onto the slopes (incl ski and boot hire) free of charge
Volunteers – if you are interested in volunteering alongside our specialist instructors, please get in touch with out Ski team on 01372 467132.
